How to Recover Sound from Screen Recording on an iPhone

Screen recording on an iphone is great, but it’s a pain when something goes wrong. And it’s usually the audio.

When you record video, the audio is the one thing you won’t be thinking about. But there are many reasons why your iPhone might stop recording audio or it gets lost.

This post designed to help solve this problem. It covers the entire process, including what’s going on.

Some common causes include:

  • Your iPhone is not connected to a power source or the battery is too low.
  • The microphone on your iPhone isn’t working properly.
  • You’re using an incompatible app that doesn’t support screen recording.

If you still can’t record audio, try restarting your iPhone and/or connecting it to a power source. If this doesn’t work, contact Apple Support for assistance.

Why does Screen Recording on iPhone have no sound?

While recording the screen on iPhone, you may find that there is no sound on the video. This could be caused by several things, including:

There’s no microphone available to capture audio.

You’re using a third-party app that doesn’t support recording.

You’re using Screen Recorder in the wrong mode.

Your iPhone has been turned off during the recording process.

If you still don’t hear any audio, try restarting both your iPhone and Screen Recorder. If this doesn’t help, please contact Apple Support for assistance with this issue.

Can you recover an iPhone audio screen recording?

iPhone Screen Recording is one of the most useful features offered by iOS devices. However, sometimes users accidentally delete them. In such cases, they lose all the recordings made on their iPhones.

Fortunately, you can easily recover deleted iPhone Screen Recordings. Here’s how:

Step 1. Launch iTunes on your computer.

Step 2. Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB cable.

Step 3. Go to “Devices” tab in iTunes.

Step 4. Select your iPhone from the list of connected devices.

Step 5. Click on “Apps” tab at the top of the window.

Step 6. Find the application called “iTunes Media Player”.

Step 7. Right click on it and select “Show Package Contents”.

Step 8. Navigate to “Music” folder inside the package.

What do I need to know about Screen Recording on iPhone?

Screen Recording on iPhone requires access to the camera and microphone of your device. When you start Screen Recorder, you’ll see a prompt asking if you want to allow Screen Recording.

If you tap Allow, then you’ll also be asked whether you want to use the front or rear camera. You should always choose the rear camera unless you specifically intend to use the front camera.

The reason for this is because the front camera is much smaller than the rear camera, which means that the quality of the recorded image will be lower.

Screen Recording on iPhone works best when you connect your iPhone to a power source. It won’t work without a power source.

Make sure you have opened iPhone Screen Recording function

To open iPhone Screen Recording function, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings app.

2. 3. Scroll down until you see “Accessibility Shortcut”. Tap on it to open the shortcut menu.

4. Choose “Home” option from the list.

5. Tap on “Recording”.

6. The screen recorder will appear.

7. Now, tap on “Allow”.

8. Your iPhone will now show up as a new option under “Camera Roll”.

9. To turn off Screen Recording, repeat steps 7 – 9.

10. To cancel the recording, tap on “Cancel”.

11. You can now close the settings page.

18 Tips for Launching and Building a Podcast

Launching and building a podcast takes time, effort, and money.

There are so many podcasts, kit, and strategies out there, how do you know what is right for you?

Starting a podcast is easier than ever these days. There are many different platforms available to create podcasts, such as Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, etc.

And you can always get ideas listening to other people’s podcasts.

Here are 16 tips to help you get started:

1. Choose a Topic That Interests You

A podcast is basically a series of audio files that are uploaded to the internet. The topic of the podcast determines what kind of content you create.

For example, if you’re interested in politics, you could create a podcast about current events. Or, you could talk about a hobby you enjoy, such as cooking or gardening.

Whatever you choose, make sure that you’re passionate about it. Otherwise, people won’t listen to your podcast.

2. A Good Name

First off, you need a name for your podcast. This is going to be the first thing people see when they search for your show. Make sure it’s catchy and memorable.

You can use an app like Buzzsumo to find other podcasts with similar names. Alternatively, you can start searching for your own name on YouTube.

3. Find Your Audience

Once you have a good idea of what type of content you want to produce, you’ll need to decide who your audience will be.

This means finding out where your listeners live. For example, if you’re creating a sports podcast, you might want to target men aged between 25-45 years old.

If you don’t know exactly who your ideal listener is, try using tools like Facebook Audiences to discover demographics.

4. Pick podcast recording equipment

Now that you’ve chosen a topic and found your audience, it’s time to pick up some microphone equipment.

There are plenty of options out there, but I recommend choosing something affordable and easy to use.

Here’s our list of the best USB microphones under-$100.

I personally love the Blue Yeti USB Microphone because it has great sound quality while being compact and portable. But thats my choice. Go and pick what works for you.

5. Pick podcast recording software

After picking out your mic, it’s time to record your episodes!

The most popular option right now is called Anchor. It’s simple to set up and offers lots of features.

When looking at software you should look for something that makes it easy to edit your recordings later on. Besides Anchor there is also another option called Podbean which is free and very easy to use.

Audio editing software lets you add effects to your audio files. These include things like background noise reduction, echo cancellation, and pitch correction.

Other features include automatic volume control, equalization, and compression.

Using these tools will improve the quality of your podcasts.

6. Find a Platform

There are many different platforms available for creating podcasts. Some of the most popular include Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Soundcloud.

However, not all platforms are created equally. To ensure you reach your maximum potential, you need to find one that suits your needs.

Here are my top picks:

  • Apple Podcasts – Apple’s platform is by far the biggest player in the industry. They offer high-quality production value and excellent customer support.
  • Google Podcasts – Another big player in the market. The interface is clean and intuitive. You can easily upload multiple shows at once.
  • Spotify – With over 150 million monthly active users, Spotify is the world’s largest music streaming service. If you already have an account, you can create a podcast directly from your playlists.
  • SoundCloud – One of the oldest players in the game. Their focus on original content means their catalogue is constantly growing.

Apps allow you to upload your media files directly from your computer. But before you do so, make sure that you have enough storage space.

7. Create A Content Plan Before Starting

Before you begin recording, think about what you want to say. Write down your ideas and then organize them into a plan.

Now that you’ve got everything else set up, it’s time to think about content. What kind of shows do you want to produce? Do you want to interview experts or share stories?

This will help you avoid wasting time talking about topics that aren’t interesting to you. It’s also helpful to write out what you want to say so that you don’t forget anything important.

8. Choose The Right Length Of Episodes

You’ll need to decide how long each episode should be. There’s no one answer here. Instead, you’ll need to consider your goals.

For example, if you want to build trust with your audience, you may want to keep your episodes shorter. On the other hand, if you want to grow your reach, you might want to go longer.

It’s also worth noting that longer episodes tend to perform better than shorter ones.

9. Find People Who Are Already Doing What You Want To Do

Once you’ve chosen a topic, find people who are doing something similar. For example, if you’re going to do a podcast about politics, you could interview politicians or political commentators.

Alternatively, you could talk to someone who works in a related field. If you’re producing a podcast about music, you could interview musicians or producers.

10. Start With An Intro And Outro

An intro and outro are two segments that appear at the beginning and end of every episode. They give your listeners a reason to listen to your show.

Your intro can be as short as 5 seconds. However, an outro is usually longer than 10 minutes. This gives you more time to get to the point.

11. Make Sure You Have Enough Time to Prepare

Don’t try to rush this step. You need enough time to prepare before you start recording.

The more time you spend preparing, the better your podcast will sound.

So, take your time and make sure you have enough time to finish your podcast.

12. Prepare questions and talking points for your interviewee

If you’re interviewing someone, you’ll need to prepare some questions ahead of time. This helps you stay on track during the conversation.

Think about what you want to learn from the person you’re interviewing. Then, ask open-ended questions like:

  • How did you come up with that idea?
  • What was it like working on that project?
  • How has technology changed since you started?

13. Record Your Voice First

When you record your voice first, you can edit later. This means that you can cut out any parts of your speech that aren’t relevant.

It also makes it easier to hear yourself speak. If you record your voice last, you’ll have to rerecord everything.

14. Create A Show Schedule

A schedule is a list of when you plan to release new episodes. You can use a calendar or Google Calendar to create your own schedule.

A schedule is great because it lets you know when you need to release new episodes.

15. Start Small And Build Up

Don’t expect to create a successful podcast overnight. Instead, focus on building slowly.

Start by recording one episode per week. Once you feel comfortable with this approach, you can increase the frequency.

This will allow you to work through all of your ideas without burning out.

16. Promote Your Podcast

Promoting your podcast is essential to its success. Share your podcast on social media, email lists, websites, etc. If you are using iTunes or another podcast directory, make sure that it’s listed there. You can also use your website and blog to promote your podcast. 6. Create A Website For Your Podcast

A podcast website will help increase the number of people who find your show. It should include information about your episodes and other content like photos, music, etc.

This is where listeners can find your podcast. They can subscribe to your feed and listen to episodes right away.

17. Get Reviews From People Who Listen To Your Show

Getting reviews from listeners is one of the best ways to get more exposure for your podcast. Make sure that you ask them for feedback after listening to your show so that you can improve it.

Last but certainly not least, you need to get yourself online. Create a Facebook page, Twitter account, Instagram account, etc.

18. Listen to feedback from your audience.

Once you’ve created a few podcasts, you’ll start getting feedback from your audience

What do they want to hear about? What topics do they want to learn more about? How can you improve your show?

The answers to these questions will help you grow as an interviewer and producer.

It’ll also help you create a list of topics to cover in upcoming epsiodes.

Final thoughts

In conclusion, we’ve covered a few tips for launching and building a successful podcast. We’ve also discussed ways to promote your podcast. Now that you know how to launch and build a podcast, you’ll want to share your knowledge with others.

So, what are you waiting for? Get up and start putting it together.

8 Ways to Use a GoPro Out and About

The GoPro has become one of the most popular cameras out there, and for good reason. They are compact, durable, and versatile.

We’re going to step away from our core focus on sounds and look at what else can you film with this great piece of kit.

Here are ten things you should try filming with a GoPro. And by the remember a good external GoPro microphone will help with these suggestions.

1. Water Sports

Water sports make for excellent footage and there is no better way than using a GoPro camera. In this article, we will also show you tips on how to mount a GoPro properly and how to secure it to avoid damage.

One such accessory you’ll need for all of these activities, is the GoPro Mounting Kit. It allows you to attach a GoPro camera to any helmet, bike or car and record your ride.

Also if you’re looking to capture some action sports footage, then you need to invest in a waterproof camera like the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition or the GoPro Hero 4 Silver.

The water-resistant housing protects your camera from being damaged by splashes, rain, snow, dust, sand, dirt, mud, and other elements. You don’t have to worry about losing your expensive camera when it gets wet!

Here are a few steps that you can follow when attaching a GoPro to a surfboard:

Step 1: Remove the Rubber Grip Tape

First, remove the rubber grip tape that comes with the GoPro. This will make it easier to attach the camera to the board.

Step 2: Attach the Mounting Plate

Attach the mounting plate to the underside of the board. Make sure that the plate is securely fastened so that it doesn’t move around.

Step 3: Place the Camera on Top

Place the GoPro on top of the board. Make certain that it is facing downwards.

2. Skiing

Skiing is one of the most popular winter sports around the world. If you have never tried skiing before, then now is the perfect time to give it a go! You might be wondering how to use a GoPro while skiing so here are some tips:

• First thing you need to do is strap the GoPro onto your head. This is done by placing the GoPro into the included helmet mount and screwing it in place. Next, you need to adjust the straps until it fits snugly but comfortably.

• Once the GoPro is secured on your head, make sure that it does not move at all during your ski session. To ensure this, you must tighten the screws that hold the GoPro in place.

• When you are ready to start recording, press the button located on the side of the camera. This will trigger the recording process.

  • Lastly, be careful.

3. Surfing

Yes, we covered watersports. But surfing it something else. Also, I have a quote from Brian, a friend who can actually stay on the board long enough to film.

Brian said: “I’ve been using the GoPro as my primary camera on surf trips for over two years now. I will not lie, it can be a pain in the ass when you have to carry around an extra bag full of batteries, SD cards, and chargers. However, if you know how to use it correctly, it can provide you with hours of entertainment.”

Here are some tips from him on how to use a GoPro to film surfing:

How to mount a GoPro to a Surfboard

A surfboard is an excellent platform for mounting a camera. It has the right shape and size, it’s light enough to be carried around easily, and it can withstand some pretty harsh conditions.

Here are a few steps you can follow when attaching a GoPro to a surfboard:

Step 1: Remove the Rubber Grip Tape

First, remove the rubber grip tape that comes with the GoPro. This will make it easier to attach the camera to the board.

Step 2: Attach the Mounting Plate

Attach the mounting plate to the underside of the board. Make sure that the plate is securely fastened so that it doesn’t move around.

Step 3: Place the Camera on Top

Place the GoPro on top of the board. Make certain that it is facing downwards.

4. Cycling

Cycling is another great sport that you can enjoy throughout the year. If you want to take photos and videos while you cycle, then you should do it with a GoPro.

Here are some tips on how you can use a GoPro while cycling:

  • First, you need to secure the GoPro onto your bicycle. There are different ways to do this depending on what type of bike you own. Some bikes come with mounts already installed, while others require you to buy additional parts.
  • Next, you need to attach the GoPro to the handlebars of your bike. Make sure that the camera is facing forward.
  • Alternatively, mount onto your camera. This is very popular. But think about the angles. For example, the side can be a good place.
  • Also, if mounting on the helmet, be aware it will weigh on your after a while. That’s why it might make sense to pick a chest mount (see further down).
  • Lastly, you need to connect the power source to the GoPro. It comes with its own battery pack, which needs to be charged first.

5. Hiking

Hiking is a fun activity that anyone can enjoy. However, if you want to capture the beauty of nature, then you should invest in a GoPro. Here is how you can use a Go-Pro while hiking:

  • The first step is to put the camera on your backpack. You can either strap it directly to your back or wear it around your neck.
  • Next, find a suitable spot where you can record. For instance, you could choose a location that has beautiful scenery.

6. Boating

I have been boating for about 10 years and I am always looking for new ways to improve my boating experience. Recently, I bought the GoPro Hero3 Black which is an amazing camera that can be attached to your boat or watercraft. Here are some tips for using a GoPro while boating:

Step 1. Secure the Camera To Your Boat

The first thing that you need to do before using a GoPro while boATING is to secure the camera to your boat. This will help prevent any damage from occurring during high winds or rough seas.

Step 2. Choose a Suitable Location

The next thing that you need to decide is where you want to place the camera. For example, you could mount the camera on top of your boat or at the front of your vessel.

Step 3. Open the App

Once you have chosen a suitable location, you now need to open the app on your smartphone or tablet. Select “record” and start filming.

Step 4. Adjust Settings

Next, you need to adjust settings such as exposure, white balance, and ISO. These settings are important because they affect the quality of the footage.

Step 5. Save File

Finally, you need to save your file. Once you have finished recording, simply tap “save” on the screen.

7. Fishing

I’ve been fishing for years and have always used my camera to document the experience. I’m not talking about just taking pictures of the fish you catch, but also documenting the entire process from casting out to landing that trophy fish.

Here are a couple of things that you can use a GoPro to film while fishing:

Step 1. Set Up the Camera Before Casting Out

Before you cast out, set up the GoPro by adjusting its settings. You can change these settings in the app on your phone or tablet.

Step 2. Film Your Catch

After you have landed your fish, take a quick video clip of the moment. This will ensure that you don’t forget what happened.

Step 3. Take Pictures After Landing

Take a picture of the fish after you land it. This way, you can share the photo online later.

8. Snowboarding

Snowboarding is awesome for filming on a GoPro. Here are some ways that you can film with a Go Pro while snowboarding:

A Helmet Mount

You can buy a helmet mount for your GoPro. The mount attaches to the inside of your helmet. It allows you to keep the camera steady throughout your ride.

A Chest Mount

You can also buy a chest mount for your GoPro. This type of mount clips onto your jacket. It allows you to hold the camera close to your body.

We’ve put together a few simple tips to help you capture amazing footage using your GoPro. Whether you’re shooting a documentary or just taking some awesome photos, these tips will ensure you get the best possible results.

I hope these tips will help you get the most out of your GoPro camera. If you’re interested in some more ideas check out more here.

How Do I Get the Most Out of My GoPro

How much time does it take to get good shots using a GoPro camera?

You can easily mount them on almost anything, from bicycles to cars, boats, planes, helicopters, drones, even robots. And if you get the right GoPro external microphone you make fantastic films.

The possibilities are endless.

And sometimes that is the problem.

Sometimes you can get so focused on using it that you forget the basics. Like maintenance or just some of those little tricks that make all the difference.

With in mind, here is our tips on how to get the most out of a GoPro.

Use the right GoPro Settings

After doing a little bit of research, it’s time to set up your GoPro. You should learn how to adjust the settings of your camera before starting to film. This will allow you to take advantage of all of your camera’s potential.

You can enable Protune from the camera setting menu. This will unlock GoPros manual settings and it will improve the recording quality. At the moment you can set custom values to every GoPro settings. These settings will be changed according to several factors, such as: what you are filming (e g fast action vs slow action), frame rate settings.

You should set your ISO as low as possible. Set your field of view to wide angle. Use stabilization when shooting videos. And use resolution settings that match the video format you’re going to upload.

Managing GoPro Batteries

Battery life can be the difference whether or not you get your shot. Keep WiFi off when you’re not using it.

Extra batteries are important to keep charged up. A GoPro camera needs a lot of power to work properly. You should always be prepared to charge your camera if you need to use it.

Buy an extra battery or two

GoPro batteries are expensive, and if you’re going to travel, you’ll need to bring extra batteries along. You can buy a new battery for your GoPro camera, or you can use an external battery pack. The latter option is cheaper, and it also lets you take advantage of the built-in microphone and speaker.

Shoot in the Highest Resolution Possible

Always shoot in the highest quality possible. Don’t worry about using up your memory card space or having to download files later. Just make sure you’re shooting in the highest quality possible!

Use a fast SD card

We recommend using only GoPro’s tested memory card. Try to use only fast memory card that can ensure 4k recordings. Otherwise, your files might fail to get saved correctly! So we suggest microSD cards that have a speed rating of Class10 or V30.

GoPro Gimbal or Stabilizer

Gimbal stabilizers are used to reduce camera shake when shooting video or photos. A gimbal is a device that holds a camera steady as it moves. Gimbals are often used in nature documentaries to allow filmmakers to capture wildlife without having to worry about their cameras shaking.

Gimbal is not waterproof, so you need to be careful when using it. You should buy the GoPro Grip gimball instead. This gimbal is made specifically for GoPro cameras.

Use a fast SD card with a good capacity

When you start recording, you want to record as much footage as possible. But don’t forget to save your files on a faster memory card. If you don’t do this, then your files will be too big to store on your computer.

If you have a large amount of data, you can split them into multiple smaller files. Then you can easily transfer these files to your computer.

When you’re editing your footage, you can choose to compress your files. Compressing your files reduces the size of your file, but it doesn’t affect the quality.

Use a tripod

A tripod is useful when you’re trying to stabilize your camera. It helps you to hold the camera still while you’re shooting.

You can use a tripod even when you’re filming outdoors. However, you shouldn’t use one indoors because they tend to block light from entering the room.

A tripod is very helpful when you’re filming underwater. It allows you to film smoothly and freely.

Keep your lens clean

Cleaning the camera lens is very important. Water droplets on the lens can ruin the quality of your photos. Licking the lens and wiping it off with a towel will help prevent water droplets from building up on the lens.

Think ahead to the video editing process

Before you begin editing your videos, think through what you want to achieve. Think about how you want to edit your video. For example, you may want to remove some parts of your video before you upload it online.

After you’ve decided what you want to do with your video, you can plan out the steps involved. For example, you can decide whether you want to add music to your video.

You can also create different versions of your video. For example:

• You could create a short version of your video.

• You could create a longer version of your video. Or you could create an extended cut.

• You could include more people in your video.

Ditch the case

GoPros are great cameras that are very easy to use. They come with many accessories such as lenses, mounts, and housings. They are also very durable because they are made out of plastic. However, if your camera gets wet, you may need to buy a new housing.

Don’t forget to remove the protective cover before taking pictures or videos. It’s best to leave the cover on until you’ve finished using your camera.

Wet weather protection

If you want to protect your camera during rainy days, you should consider buying a waterproof case. These cases are designed to keep your camera safe even if it gets wet.

The GoPro Hero4 Black has a waterproof rating of IPX7. This means that the camera can withstand being submerged in 1 meter (3 feet) of water for 30 minutes. If you want to go deeper than this, then you should look at other models.

The GoPro Hero5 Session is one of the most popular waterproof cameras available today. It comes with a waterproof rating of IP68. This means that the Hero5 Session can survive being immersed in water for up to 2 meters (6.5 feet).

Protect Your Camera From Dust

Dust particles can easily enter your camera through its ports. To avoid this, you should always put your camera inside a dustproof bag.

You can also use a filter to protect your camera from dust. There are several types of filters available online, but you should choose a filter that fits your camera model.

The list above has shown some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your GoPro camera. We hope this article has helped you learn more about how to maximize the performance of your GoPro. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us in the comments section below.

How to monetize a Podcast in 2022

Since the dawn of the Internet, podcasting has grown to become the most popular way for people to consume information. As of 2018, there are over 5 million podcasts on iTunes alone.

Therefore, it’s no surprise that many people want to learn how to make money podcasting. It may come as a shock that anyone with an internet connection and a decent USB microphone under 100 can do it, but it’s true!

A podcast is an excellent way to reach many people.

Listener engagement is high. Listeners like marketing messages, and they’re usually making good money. It’s because they want to know exactly how to make money from podcasts.

Here I’ll cover some different methods for monetizing podcasts and talk through some pros/cons and recommend which ones would be best suited for your business.

How much money do podcasts make?

Podcasts have been around since 2004, but they’ve experienced a surge in popularity over the past few years.

In 2016, the podcast industry had over 40 million monthly listeners and there are currently over 460,000 podcasts available on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

The money that podcasts make depends on advertising and sponsorship deals. Podcast advertising is growing at a rate of over 20% annually.

The top 10 podcasts have combined annual revenues of over $100 million dollars.

Things to work out before you look to monetize your podcast

Now that you have created a podcast it’s time to start thinking about how to monetize your content. There are a lot of factors you will need to think about before jumping into monetizing your podcast. Do you want to do advertisements? Audience engagement? Patrons?

How Much Money Can You Make?

First, let’s look at the average amount of money someone makes with a podcast. According to Podcasters’ Alliance, the median annual income for podcasters was $20,000 in 2017.

That means half of all podcasters earned more than that and half earned less.

If you’re thinking about starting a podcast, don’t worry too much about the exact figure. Instead, think about whether you could earn enough to cover your expenses and maybe even save a little bit of money.

Ways to monetize a podcast

There are different ways to monetize a podcast, each with its pros and cons. The first thing you need to do is decide which strategy you want to pursue.

Active Advertising or Podcast Sponsorships

Active advertising is a form of marketing where the firm engages in direct interactions with prospective and current customers. The goal of this form of marketing is to increase customer loyalty and purchase frequency by providing information that helps customers solve their problems and identify the benefits they provide.

Active advertising is more complicated than passive advertising because you need to actively manage the relationship between yourself and advertisers. If done correctly, it can provide significant additional revenue streams.

The upside is that it provides greater control over the relationship between you and the advertiser. The downside is that you need to invest more resources to build a strong relationship with potential advertisers. A good example of this is the Joe Rogan and Tim Ferris shows.

Passive Advertising

A podcast needs basic monetization and this usually comes from passive revenue by way of ads. You will need to produce a lot of content for dissemination in various places before getting any income.

Originally, you might have a lot of work in order to get followers for your content at first. However, once people start following it and producing audiences, the benefits will follow for months or even years to come.

Advertising is very easy to implement and has low barriers to entry. The downside is that it requires a large amount of initial investment.

Podcasters selling courses

Podcasters are using podcasts to deliver course material for self-study. This is an inexpensive but effective way to have course material delivered directly to their listeners, which can be especially useful for lessons that require the use of specific software that may not be widely available.

They can set up an RSS feed that automatically alerts listeners when new episodes are released. Listeners who are interested in taking a course offered by this podcaster simply need to subscribe to the podcast and wait for new episodes.

These courses are usually available as downloadable eBooks.

These courses can also be sold directly through Amazon’s Kindle store. Some podcasters even sell these courses directly to their audiences.

It helps to build a good email list if you want to take this route.

Monetizing by offering services

Podcasters monetizing by offering services

Some podcasters are leveraging their larger audience to provide paid services. This allows them to support themselves while still hosting the podcast, and to give back to their audience with exclusive content.

Podcasters that turn to this strategy typically offer coaching or consulting sessions in either a one-time session or in longer, ongoing programs.

It goes without saying this would require you to have some sort of expertise in the field that you are offering advice on.

Funding through crowdfunding and donations

The world of podcasts is changing and becoming more legitimate with the introduction of crowdfunding and donations. This has given podcasts a new way to stay afloat and keep their content free for listeners.

Money can be made in two ways: donations or by selling merchandise to your target audience. Podcasts that have shown success in this venture include: The Truth podcast, White Lies, and McVeigh.

Merchandise and products

If you’re looking to sell products related to your podcast, then you need to create a store where people can buy those items.

You can either sell things yourself or find someone who does this already and pay them to sell your stuff.

For example, if you were doing a cooking show, sell cookbooks, kitchen equipment, and other food-related items.

Selling your own product is another way to generate revenue from your podcast. You can sell anything from books to t-shirts to coffee mugs.

It all depends on what kind of content your podcast offers. If you’re talking about politics, you probably won’t be able to sell political paraphernalia. But if you’re talking about a cooking show, you should definitely be able to sell cookware.

Hosting events and live recordings

Some popular podcasts monetize by hosting events such as live recordings or conferences to generate revenue. This increases the listenership of the podcast, and in turn increases advertising revenue. It also helps increase engagement and loyalty among your followers.

This is one of the most effective ways to monetize a podcast because it brings together a large audience at once.

Affiliate marketing as a way to make money

Podcasts are a great way to get information and advice from people who have been in the same situation as you. It can be hard sometimes to see what you’re doing wrong, and this is where podcasts come in handy.

Top afflilate programs include Amazon, Awin, and Clickbank.

Several podcasts provide affiliate links for products and services they mention on their show, so if you purchase them using these links, the podcaster earns a commission.

What is the downside of podcasts monetizing with affiliate marketing? The downside to podcasts monetizing with affiliate marketing is that listeners don’t know what they are sharing until they click on the affiliate link. This often leads to issues downstream of what was originally advertised.

Lastly, it requires the listener to type the affiliate label in.

In conclusion, podcasting is a rewarding and multi-layered process that could lead to a successful and sustainable business.

The best way to monetize a podcast is by building an engaged audience and then exploring the possibility of advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate marketing.
